WHO IS NANA-SÉNTUO BONSU?
Nana-Séntuo Bonsu is a multi-media journalist and host in Washington, D.C. She kicked off her passion for journalism in college at Virginia Commonwealth University. After graduation she traveled across the Atlantic to Accra, Ghana where she was given the opportunity to challenge herself on television at E.Ghana and on the airwaves at Y.FM. While working with these networks, she spent her time discussing major topics from politics to social issues, lifestyle and entertainment.
After spending two years in Ghana, she returned back to the States where she accepted a job as a reporter with Spectrum News (cable and local ABC affiliate) in Greensboro, North Carolina. After her time in North Carolina, she moved to southeast Virginia to report at the CBS affiliate - WTKR in Norfolk. From there she headed to the midwest to work in Detroit at the ABC affiliate WXYZ, before heading back home where she works a the local FOX affiliate in Washington, D.C.
Outside of the newsroom the story telling does not stop. She uses her talents to help tell stories and inspire others through TV, speaking engagements and sometimes film. Nana-Séntuo does whatever it takes to help give a voice for the voiceless, and to be sure that no one is ever left silent.
